PREVIEW: Clyde v Queen's Park
Clyde take on Glasgow rivals Queen’s Park in cinch League 1 as The Spiders make the short trip to Broadwood Stadium.
Queen’s Park currently lead the way in the league, after an unbeaten start to the campaign following three wins and three draws, five points above The Bully Wee.
Danny Lennon will have the same squad available that faced Peterhead last week with the addition of new loan signing Euan Deveney. Ally Love and Jonathan Page continue to recover from their injuries.
Speaking to the official website ahead of the match, Clyde manager Danny Lennon said :- “The challenge we haven’t met so far this season is consistency, producing back to back wins. It’s something we’re working hard to rectify. This league is a very exciting league this season, you just need to look at the results each week and see that everyone is capable of taking points off one another.
“We know we have to bring our best, like every week, and we know how tough a challenge Queen’s Park will be. It’s a challenge we look forward to, and we know we are capable of producing another good home performance and result.
“The fans were absolutely tremendous last week, and back at home they will produce a good atmosphere again. It’s the kind of game where you want to hold the bragging rights at work on Monday morning, and we’ll be doing our upmost to please the fans.”
