LOAN SIGNING: Cameron Palmer
The club is pleased to announce the loan signing of 20-year-old midfielder Cameron Palmer from Rangers.
Palmer, a Northern Ireland under-21 international, has joined The Bully Wee until the end of the 2020-21 season.
Cameron is currently part of the Rangers B squad and gained first team experience during two loan spells recently; firstly with Partick Thistle in 2019 where he made 20 appearances, then with Orange County in the United States.
He joins his Gers teammate, Matthew Shiels, in joining Clyde on a loan agreement.
Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-
"I'm very pleased and excited to welcome Cameron to Clyde FC. He is a talented midfielder who has played with both Scotland and Northern Ireland at international youth level and, as such, I'm sure he will enhance what I believe is an already strong squad here at Clyde.
"Cammy is an exciting prospect and I am pleased he has chosen us to assist in the progression of his career. I look forward to working with him."
In other squad news, it's been confirmed that goalkeeper David Wilson has joined Lowland League BSC Glasgow on loan. Fellow stopper Michael McGee has now moved to Cumbernauld United on a similar loan deal, following a short spell at Forth Wanderers.
