The club is pleased to announce its first new signing of the summer, with defender Jamie Bain joining Clyde from Forfar Athletic.

Bain, 29, started his career with Airdrie and went on to make over 200 appearances for The Diamonds, in an eight-year spell ending in 2016. He then moved onto Forfar, continuing to be a first team regular at Station Park in the four seasons that followed.

Jamie today put pen to paper on a one-year contract with The Bully Wee.

Speaking to the official website, Danny Lennon said:-

"We are delighted to acquire the services of Jamie. He is predominantly a right back, but is also very comfortable in a couple of other positions, which makes him a valuable asset. He has played over 340 games for Airdrie and Forfar combined, with the vast majority in League 1, which provides the type of experience that we need to strengthen our defensive area.

"His goals and assists record is also another factor that demonstrates he has the qualities we look for in a player in this key position, to suit our style of play."

The list of players currently contracted for the 2020-21 campaign is; Jamie Bain, Barry Cuddihy, David Goodwillie, Craig Howie, Chris Johnston, Mark Lamont, Ally Love, Michael McGee, Martin McNiff, David Mitchell, Scott Rumsby and Kristoffer Syvertsen.
