Community Foundation Strikes Gold
The Clyde Community Foundation was delighted to receive the news this week that it has been given a Gold award in the SFA Quality Mark for grassroots clubs.
Tom Elliott, Community Development Manager said:-
"A massive thank you must go to all the parents and players who have supported the Clyde Foundation over the last couple of years. We now have over 300 boys and girls training and playing in our community set up and 75 volunteer coaches and helpers.
"Without our brilliant coaches and volunteers, who give up an incredible amount of time, we would not be able to operate the programme to such an extent.
"The football club has also been a huge factor in helping us grow and has been very supportive of us. Whether it be free tickets to matches or players attending functions or training sessions to help the teams, it all adds to the experience and environment we are looking to create at Clyde."
