PREVIEW: Montrose v Clyde
The Bully Wee travel to Angus tomorrow to take on Ladbrokes League 2 leaders Montrose at Links Park.
The Clyde squad will again be without Jack Breslin and Max Wright due to injury, although Scott Ferguson returned to training last night and the winger could be included in the travelling group.
Speaking to the official website today, Danny Lennon said:-
"We look forward to our trip to Montrose and the challenge that playing a team at the top of the table presents. They are in excellent form and we need to find the form that we believe we are capable of producing.
"Some injuries have hit us at a cruel time of the season, but what we all love about football is that anything can happen. Teams often upset the form book and that is exactly what we are looking to do tomorrow. The best is yet to come form our group of players and we are pursuing strategies to bring out their best, both individually and collectively."
On today's addition of goalkeeper Kyle Gourlay on loan, Danny continued:-
"I'm really pleased to have Kyle back at the club. What really impressed me was his hunger to come back to Clyde and fight for his place. We've now got genuine competition for the goalkeeper position between Blair and Kyle and that's healthy for everyone.
"January has been a busy and frustrating time, as we look to strengthen the squad. Work is ongoing and every manager in the country is looking to do some business to help their squad out. We are still looking to add to our three signings so far and we will keep working on that until the window closes."
