Loan Signing: Andy Munro

Thu, 31st Aug 2017 8:53pm

The club had made a further addition to the squad this evening, with centre half Andy Munro joining Clyde on loan from Forfar Athletic.

Munro, 24, is formerly of Raith Rovers and made his first senior appearances in 2015 after joining Arbroath, where he established himself in the first team. A further move to Station Park followed ahead of the 2016-17 season and, again, Andy was a regular starter as The Loons secured promotion to League 1.

A temporary transfer was completed this evening, initially until January.

Jim Chapman said:-

"We know Andy from playing at this level over the last couple of years and he's always done very well. He was a strong opponent against us at Annan, so we've kept an eye on him.

"We're grateful to Gary Bollan and Forfar for allowing the loan to happen and I think he'll make a fantastic contribution at Clyde."
