Under-20 Coach Appointed

Wed, 23rd Aug 2017 10:30pm

The club is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony McNally as coach of Clyde's under-20 team.

Tony is a young but already very experienced coach and holder of the UEFA B Licence and UEFA Elite Youth A Licence qualifications.

His first step into senior football was with Annan Athletic in 2013, combining first team, youth and scouting roles. In 2016, Tony was appointed as head of youth at Dumbarton, before moving on at the end of the season as The Sons made changes to their youth programme.

Clyde manager Jim Chapman said: "Tony is someone who we have known for a long time and he is coming from the youth and development background, which is an ideal fit. He's got a great network of contacts and a good standing in the game, despite being relatively young for a coach.

"It's another step in building the backroom team, with the aim of developing players and getting young players ready to play in the first team."
